Owen currently rides for ‘Orange Eventing’ and has been a key part of Team Orange since 2011. Owen’s passion has always been eventing and since his first BE competition at the age of seventeen, he has gone on to be one of the UK’s top riders. Last season’s highlight for Team Orange was Owen steering ‘Perfect Stranger’ to a double clear at Blenheim Palace CCI3* - a successful debut for this horse at this level and surely one to be watched.

Owen has completed Badminton eight times (with four top twenty placings), Burghley four times, and has achieved numerous placings at International events. In addition, he was reserve for the 1992 Olympics and short listed for the World Equestrian Games and the Sydney Olympics.

Alongside Orange Eventing Owen is happy to take on additional outside rides, which can be stabled at Lyneham Heath Farm. He will consider problem or particularly tricky horses, and welcomes both short and long term stays.
